BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Please respect the presence of fire while using your candles and always use caution. As with all candles, they may pose as a fire hazard if not used properly.

To optimize your Rhee360® candle burning experience, we recommend these guidelines:

-
Upon first ever use, burn for at least two hours, or until the entire surface has turned to liquid wax. This will help prolong the life of your candle.
-
Always burn the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This can help prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevent glass containers from breaking..
-
Keep wick(s) trimmed to 1/8 inches at all times.
-
Burn for no more than 3-4 hours at a time
-
Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers or the flame becomes too high. The candle isn’t burning properly. Cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before relighting
-
Never burn a candle for more than 3 hours at a time and be aware that outside factors, such as drafts, fans, heat, and cold can affect the way a candle burns
-
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or any combustible material. Keep the wick centered.
-
Avoid burning candles in drafts.
-
Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep all matches and lighters out of the reach of children.
-
Extinguish the candle carefully, and allow it to cool completely before touching or moving.

Extinguishing Tips
Use a snuffer. The most effective way to extinguish the flame of a candle is to use a candle snuffer. The snuffer helps prevent the wax from spraying and keeps the wick centered as well.

If you don’t have a snuffer. Here’s an effective way to extinguish a candle if you don’t have a snuffer. Position your forefinger between the candle and your mouth, aligning it with the flame. When you blow at the candle, the “air” will circle around your finger and hit the flame from both sides, rather than approaching it directly. It’s a clever trick, try it!

How to Store Your Candle Properly
The candle wax and fragrance oils we use in our candles are sensitive to both temperature and light, so please be careful when storing candles for an extended period of time. Since our candles can be sensitive to extreme cold and heat, it’s best to store them between 50ºF and 85ºF or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or intense light. Keeping it in a dark place like a cupboard or box will protect it from fading and discoloration.

And be sure not to leave our candles in your car for an extended period of time (particularly on hot days) as they may melt or discolor. Extreme cold causes cracking and separation, so it’s best to follow our temperature guidelines. After long exposure to the cold, you should allow the candle to return to room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours before burning it to minimize potential damage.
